Racing tier: $99/mo until the beta lands
Racing-plan founding clubs pay the Starter rate ($99/mo) until the race-scoring beta is in their hands — targeted for October 15, 2026. Your locked Racing price ($199) starts the month after — we don’t charge for the flagship feature before it exists.
Free white-glove migration
We import your roster, boats, certifications, and history from a spreadsheet, ClubExpress, or SailingClubManager, configure your club, and run two live training sessions — concierge onboarding included, at no charge.
Founding Council seat
A recurring product call with the founder and named design-partner input on the racing module before its beta ships — and on the payments module after it. Founding clubs’ feature votes count double.
Founding badge & plaque
A numbered “Founding Club #N of 25” badge for your site, a physical plaque, and a spot on the founding wall at zeilapp.com.
Early access & founder hotline
Every beta — racing, payments, the school module — lands with Founding Clubs 30+ days before general availability. Plus a direct email and phone line to Charles through 2027, answered within one business day.
Optional: prepay annually
Pay 12 months upfront for the price of 10. Capped at 10 of the 25 slots.
What this isn’t
No percentage discount of any kind — the price lock protects against future increases, it doesn’t mark down today’s price. No free months beyond the standard 60-day trial. No custom feature commitments to a single club, and no exclusivity.
Honesty note: race series scoring isBeta — Oct 15, 2026not live today — which is exactly why founding clubs get a direct hand in building it.
Eligibility
The cap is real
- First 25 US clubs to countersign the Founding Clubs order form — a hard cap. Club #26 gets standard terms, no exceptions.
- Program closes at 25 active founding clubs, or 2027-02-28, whichever comes first.
- Any US yacht club, sailing center, or sailing school, on any plan — priority to clubs with an active racing program.
- You’ll complete a white-glove migration workshop and a trial with at least 5 real active members, with one named board sponsor.
In exchange
What we ask of a founding club
- Reference rights: your club name, burgee, and approved quotes on zeilapp.com and in sales materials.
- One written case study within 90 days of activation — you approve the final copy.
- Up to one reference call per month, scheduled respectfully around volunteer time.
- A feedback cadence: milestone calls during onboarding, then quarterly Founding Council attendance.
- Racing-tier clubs: actual participation in the racing beta, in-season or off-season, with structured feedback.

Why only 25?
Because the terms include founder time — council calls, design partnership, the hotline. Twenty-five is what one founder can honor without it becoming a brochure promise.
What happens to club #26?
Standard terms, same product, same care — just not founding pricing or the council seat. The cap is real.
Can we get the founding terms without the reference stuff?
No — the references are the price of the terms. If reference rights don’t work for your club, standard terms remove the obligation entirely.
What if the roadmap slips?
We’ll notify you of material changes within 10 business days. And per the Racing-tier mechanic above, you’re never paying Racing-tier price for a racing module that hasn’t shipped yet.
